Alexandra Gate
London's new parkside creative district
London's new parkside creative district
Placebrand was briefed to re-brand a large multi-phase residentially driven scheme in north-east London known as Clarendon. With the current name and branding style felt to lack any sense of either distinction or desirable location.
Our recommendation following a three-month development and consultancy process, was to highlight and celebrate the scheme’s adjacency to one of London’s most famous open spaces and historic public buildings, namely Alexandra Park and Palace.
In this context, the scheme was re-named Alexandra Gate, and a new visual style created in response to the other intention central to the brief, to present this as a place offering a rich, distinctive and creative lifestyle. With all of this driven by the central thought; LONDON’S NEW PARKSIDE CREATIVE DISTRICT.
As such, at the heart of this new branding system are a vibrant yet sophisticated suite of illustrations. Developed to showcase every aspect of the offer, both at the scheme itself and within the surrounding area. With each illustration rendered both as a static image and short animation, to leverage maximum impact across digital media platforms.
Applications developed thus far in support of a new integrated marketing campaign have included; hoardings and billboards, brochures, marketing suite materials, and social media assets.
